why am i addicted to friends the tv show? its a good guestion regarding that i’m a greater god according to facebook and i have all the seasons on cds. whats so great about the show that makes one watch it more than 5 times? and after 5 times you do know the dialogues and expressions.

friends is about 6 people living in new york city. everyone knows someone like the characters. we witness their lives. they are lovable chjaracters who we can identify ourselves with. they are easy to relate to.  each of them are different and makes a different impression on you.

…still thinking what to write. hopefully will be regular and not stop blogging. we’re now in a multimedia workshop in college. creating a blog is one of the exercises.

it is really hot, wish i was at home. heard the temperature has dropped thanks to the rains. now it must be feeling like a proper winter. sweaters and jackets would see the light of day. i miss being bundled up in woolens. calcutta winters rock. nothing like a tram ride by the maidan and ‘lebu cha’ (lemon tea) in the college campus. but winter at batanagar is a hundred times better because of the breeze from the ganga. the early morning fog and the night time chill is not found in calcutta. not even at the strand. wonder what shantiniketan must be like at this time of year… should have gone for ‘poush mela’.
